The stylishly curved LED daytime running lights perfectly match the round appearance and functional design of the car. The integrated control unit allows a comfortable fitting without laying any further cables or switches in the interior of the car.

The principle is very easy: From each LED light, one cable is attached to the ignition´s plus terminal (12 V), one to the minus and another to the parking lights. As soon as the ignition is started, the lights are activated and also switch off automatically as soon as the parking lights/dimmed headlights are turned on.

The parts package includes two lights with an already integrated control unit, all necessary connecting cables as well as continuously adjustable fastening brackets. Due to the individually adjustable fastening brackets, an extension, installation or sub structure can be placed at any desired position of the car front and aligned accordingly.

Revo Releases 2.0L TFSi Stage3 K04 Performance Software

Revo announced a new software version for 2.0L TFSi engines with K04 turbo. Revo Stage3 K04 software is based on the highly successful Revo Stage2+ software for the 2.0L TFSi K04 engines, recalibrated for the 2.0L TFSi K03 engines with equivalent hardware specification as Stage2+ for the K04 engine.

Therefore by using the factory K04 turbo and matching injectors from the higher spec engine, along with a few other standard bolt-on modifications, Revo Stage3 K04 performance software on the regular K03 based 2.0L TFSi engine is a very good way to upgrade your engine to well over 300bhp.

DSG BIG Paddle Shifters for Audi

audi Paddle Agency Power With every modification you do to your vehicle, you want to make sure it is improving the driveability and aesthetically looks good on your car. We noticed that the Audi DSG paddle shifters were definitely lacking in this department.

The smaller shifter made it hard to quickly bang through the gears on the street, mountain roads, and on the track. While keeping your hands on the steering wheel in the appropriate position, you would have to take your hand off the wheel in a turn to reach for the small OEM paddle. What Agency Power has developed is a complete replacement paddle for the Audi DSG paddle shifter transmission.

These aluminum paddle shifters are CNC machined 6061 aluminum that is precision engineered to fit on to the stock electronic switch module. Each paddle curves in the shape of the steering wheel and is beveled to provide an easy grip and quick shift no matter where you press on it. The shifters are approximately 6 inches in length compared to the stock one which is almost 3 inches. Each paddle features a very clean engraved + and – sign which is then available painted in either blue, red, white, or silver. The paddles come in a flat satin black anodized finish. The installation of the paddle shifters is approximately 1 hour. Paddle shifters are sold as a pair, left and right, and include the Agency Power warranty. MTM’s bimoto forged alloy wheel

mtm bimoto wheel MTM has augmented its bestseller, the “bimoto” wheel, with a new forged alloy version. Fitting “bimoto forged” wheels significantly enhances the handling of the regarding vehicle.

MTM’s “bimoto forged” wheel is, as the name suggests, a forged wheel. It is produced using a special manufacturing technique. Because the “bimoto forged” wheel is up to 30 percent lighter than cast wheels of the same size, the unsprung weight is reduced on the wheel suspension. Less weight results in noticeably sportier handling and enhanced braking performance. The lower rotatory masses also enhance the acceleration, steering response and driving comfort, thereby increasing the overall driving pleasure!

Weight per wheel rim: 9×20“ = 11,7 kg; 11×20“= 13 kg

Despite the low weight, the wheel load is an impressive 790 kg!

MTM is offering its “bimoto forged” wheel in a “Diamond Cut” finish in the sizes 8.5 x 19″ ET 35, 8.5×19″ ET 50 and 9.5×19″ ET 45 for € 1,045 (excluding VAT). For the Audi models RS6, TTS and R8, the wheel is already available in 9×20″ (€ 1,045 excl. VAT) and 11×20″ (€ 1,265 excl. VAT) .

Revo Technik Performance Software for Audi

revo audi Revo Technik is proud to announce that it is the first company worldwide to offer OBD port flashed and switchable performance software for the MED17 engine control units in the new VAG model range. This is the latest generation of Engine Control Units from Bosch for Direct Injection petrol engines. These ECUs use the more advanced TriCore processor from Infineon. MED17 is a new architecture, and the latest in technology.

Revo Technik has been working with MED17 for over a year now and everyone at Revo Technik is thrilled with the results from the fine tuning of their 1.4TSi (140 bhp) turbocharged and supercharged VW Golf and 1.8TFSi turbocharged Audi A3 that has been completed over recent months.

As Revo Technik’s Director of Engineering, Todd Williams, explains; “This is a fantastic achievement and it exemplifies the talents and abilities of the Revo Technik team. Unlike many other performance software companies, Revo Technik has the ability to develop its own tools and technology in-house. This allows us to provide the very best performance products on the most recent VAG vehicles. The new Revo Technik performance software for the MED17 ECU has initially been developed for these two new engines, with outstanding results!”

The new Revo Technik performance software for the MED17 ECU’s works with all of the standard features of the factory ECU including OBD port reflashing and Digital Signature code protection. The ECU is not removed from the vehicle, opened, or physically modified in any way. “We are particularly pleased that the new software is fully switchable between stock and performance modes, working with both our Select and Select Plus switches” adds Williams.

1.4 TSi (140)
“With its supercharger and turbo, the 1.4TSi engine provided a greater challenge to achieve the ultimate blend of performance and drivability from the software. As with all Revo Technik performance software, the tuning has been focussed on smoothness and driveability. The supercharger responds instantly in the bottom half of the rev range, and above 4000 rpm, its all turbo, it just keeps going, pulling hard to red line. With its close ratio 6 speed gear box the car just flies, it feels very fast.”

The 1.4 TSi is now running over 205 bhp with Revo Technik software, it’s a massive gain. The car is flexible and eager, with a
responsive mid range and a lot of power over 4,500 rpm, it really shines in the top rev ranges and feels very strong. Also, this 1.4 TSi (140) now has as much torque as the stock 1.8TFSi!

1.8TFSi
The new 1.8TFSi engine (sister engine to the new ’08 2.0TSi/TFSi) is nothing like the old 1.8T. It’s a new engine with the new engine management system, MED17. Yet again, the Revo Technik performance software has taken a VAG engine to a new dimension. The torque at 3-4000rpm is incredible, very similar to the 2.0TDi with Revo Technik software! Peak power is at 5,700 rpm and its still over 200 bhp at 6,800 rpm; in fact it’s over 200bhp from 4000rpm to red line.

“It’s so smooth, and really driveable, you can do what you want, in any gear you want. It’s as good as a torquey Diesel below 4K, and every bit a performance turbocharged petrol above 4K.” adds Williams.

Both of these Revo Technik development cars have been transformed. The team has been striving for the ultimate in tuning and the hours they have spent working with these cars on the dyno and on the road has delivered an excellence in performance that is unrivalled for this latest generation of engines.
